Taking a selfie photo together with your ballot is a big NO-NO. This selfie thing with the ballot is against the law and might get violators to jail for 30 days and need to pay a fine not exceeding $50. Two weeks from now before the casting of voters on choosing the next President of the United States and other government positions.

The actor Justin Timberlake recently cast the early vote in the hometown of Memphis, Tennessee last Monday, October 24. There was a law that forbids Tennesseans from using the device for recording, taking photographs or videos and for telephone conversations while inside the polling area but the actor Justin did.

Justin Timberlake snaps a voting selfie inside the voting booth hence breaking the law and may cause him some dangerous consequences. Behind the picture that was posted on Instagram is to encourage others to do an early voting and encourage the fans to exercise the right to vote. The post's states "Hey! You! Yeah, YOU! I just flew from LA to Memphis to #rockthevote !!! No excuses, my good people! There could be early voting in your town too. If not, November 8th! Choose to have a voice! If you don't, then we can't HEAR YOU! Get out and VOTE!"

Shelby County district attorney spokesman said to the Commercial Appeal newspaper that the matter of possible election-law violation was under review, as of the moment there was no formal complaint that has been filed.

Some people want the selfie vote to be legalized because it's a tangible proof of expressing support to an individual candidate. It's a powerful voice of a voter for a political expression. People can still cast a voting selfie, where? Utah, North Dakota, Hawaii, Rhode Island and Oregon are the state that doesn't forbid voters to photograph their ballots.
