The pop sisters Beyoncé and Solange Knowles became to first sisters to achieve No.1 spot in Billboard 200 chart. Solange's latest album, "A Seat at the Table" has made her to log the top spot and helped the sisters to achieve the feat. This is her third album after "Solo Star Tour" in 2002 and "Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams Tour" in 2008. Beyoncé had reached No.1 six times previously, most recent being "Lemonade" in April, 2016.

Solange Knowles, the younger sister of Beyoncé, took almost four years to make the album and her hard work paid well. It was released on Sep. 30, 2016 and so far it has made sales of 72,000 copies. Bon Iver's "22, A Million" narrowly missed the top spot and came second with 71,000 units. When Solange's album released, industry experts predicted the total sale of 60,000 copies and considering the fact that it has broken first-week forecast, it may get more sales in the coming weeks, as cited by Billboard.

Beyoncé Knowles is very impressed with sister's work. "Congratulations to my sister for the beautiful work," she said during the release of album. "I couldn't be more proud of her." Now the great news would make her much happier as she completed her Formation Tour on last Friday. Solange said that the album "A Seat at the Table" was inspired by her father Mathew Knowles and mother Tina Lawson and both of their statements included in the album, reports Dailymail.

Though they are the first sisters with each has No.1 albums, they are not the first siblings of the same. Michael and Janet Jackson had 6 and 7 No.1 albums in their credit. Also Master P and his brother Silkk the Shocker achieved this feat as No.1 brothers. Most importantly, Beyonce and Solange achieved this in same calendar year as Janet and Michael did in 2011 with their albums "All for you" and "Invincible".
