'Murder In The First' News & Update: The Series Has Been Canceled; Everything That We Need To Know!

"Murder in the First" is canceled after its third season. This has just been confirmed recently. The third season of the series concluded last month and there will not be a fourth.

In a report from The Hollywood Reporter, "Murder in the First" ended Season 3 with the ratings to 1 million down from the previous seasons. The numbers has a lot of difference since its first season which garnered a rating of 3 million plus.

The series focuses on different cases every season. "Murder in the First" stars Taye Diggs and Kathleen Robertson as the detectives in San Francisco. The three seasons have been set in San Francisco and as the show moves on each season ended in solving the case.

In a report from Variety, "Murder in the First" came about right after the first attempt of Bochco to do a crime drama titled "Murder One" which aired in 1995 to 1997. Thus the series went on for three seasons since it piloted.

"Murder in the First" is co-created by Bochco and Eric Lodal. The third season ended last Sept. 4 and is not going to have another installment. The show has been one of the series' that had a greenlight on TNT Network.

The show also included Corey Reynolds, Michael Gaston and Sara Paxton. "Murder in the First" also casts Raphael Sbarge, Lombardo Boyar and Ian Anthony Dale. Currie Graham and Mimi Kirkland are also included in the series. At this point Brochno is busy for a reboot of 'LA Law.'

'LA Law' is 20th Century fox production and is still in the works in getting its network. Brchno has worked for "Murder in the First" on the three seasons. It seems that another one of his works is something fans can look forward to once it done.
