'Prison Break' Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Can Michael Scofield Break Free? Everything That We Need To Know!

Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell), Michael Scofield Wentworth Miller) and the rest of the team will face challenges in escaping Yemen in "Prison Break" Season 5. However, before the team can even escape the place, Michael is already trying to find a way out by himself.

According to International Business Times, writer Vaun Wilmott hinted about Michael trying to escape from prison in "Prison Break" Season 5. He has posted a screenshot of Michael doing so in his own Twitter account.

It has already been confirmed that Michael did not die in the previous season and is found to be alive behind bars in Yemen for "Prison Break" Season 5. Lincoln will team up with Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) in order to help Michael break out from the penitentiary.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is confirmed to have a heavier storyline compared to the previous seasons. It tells about terrorism which is also vital on what's going on in the world today. The show takes place in Yemen and Michael has ended up working for ISIS and the ISA. It got to the point when Michael does not want to do the job with the organization anymore and has been the reason why they placed him behind bars.

Meanwhile, the premiere episode of "Prison Break" Season 5 picks up from where the previous season left off seven years ago. It has been a long time and Michael is in prison. He has been involved in the terrorist group. Once the season kicks in there are things that Michael has learned from being where he has been for the past seven years.

When Michael died in Season 4, he left behind a wife and a son. In report from News Everyday, Sara is married to a different man in "Prison Break" Season 5. It is speculated that Sara married Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein). Sara works with Lincoln this time to help Michael escape from prison.

"Prison Break" Season 5 returns in 2017.
