"Prison Break" Season 5 returns after its break for seven years. This season has Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) in prison. He has been involved in a terrorist group in Yemen which resulted for him to be behind bars. Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) is off to save him with the original team. However, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) is already married to a different man.

In a report from iTechPost, Michael ended up working for an organization that is doing illegal transactions. It is speculated that he may have been working for the ISIS and ISA in "Prison Break" Season 5. Michael is seen to be in Yemen and behind bars.

It is also a possibility that Sara has already married to a different man in "Prison Break" Season 5. It can be recalled that Michael was believed to have died in the fourth season of the series. He left Sara with their child and it is possible that for seven long years Sara could have married again.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is speculated to have Paul Kellerman (Paul Adelstein) as Sara's new husband. He has been a part of the series from Season 1. He was introduced as a villain and later on changed to be a good man. He became congressman in the series during Season 4. He gets to gather the other members from the Fox River Eight and decide to help Michael escape from prison. Along the way, as they try to break Michael free, it is speculated that Lincoln will sacrifice his life just for Michael's sake.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is also rumored to be the final season of the series. Lincoln and the team will try their best in getting Michael out. They also will face challenges because they not only will escape Michael from prison but also from the country.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to air in 2017 and will consist of 10 episodes.
