"Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" was initially scheduled to release on Oct. 7, but the updates from the developer Scott Cawthon, confuses the fans about the release date. The game series was highly popular and the latest installment was a surprise for many as Cawthon initially confirmed that the series would be stopped by the last edition "Five Nights at Freddy's 4,"  but later he confirmed that the latest installment would be a spin-off.

In the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location"  official Steam page Cawthon posted about the potential delay. He further shared the uncertainty over the release date and announced that no confirmed date can be given. "There are some plot elements that are dark and sometimes I am feeling sick; it is not easy to fix", said Cawthon. It would either be released on Friday or would take several months to make it more kid-friendly, reported Kotaku Online.

Later Cawthon came up with a different stand on the release of the "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location" game. "I will release the 'mature' version of the game, in sections, as I promised I would", he said. He also said that the "real" Sister Location would be released in few months with the additional features that makes it enjoyable to everyone, cited iDigitalTimes.

After confirming the release of mature Sister Location in chapters, he posted the first demo on Game Jolt for free. Immediately after posting the demo Cawthon announced again that the game is not delayed and hinted the release on Friday.

It is still uncertain that whether the game would be released on Friday or he would wait for the real version. Considering the fact that Cawthon loves to troll his fans, gives demo surprise to his devotees, and his back and forth statements, fans can expect more on Friday. The situation is that no one can guess about the release of Sister Location on Friday except him.
