Now that fans of "Chicago Fire" will only have to wait for a few days before its Season 5 premiere, rumors are spreading all over cyberspace that the release date will be moved next year. A report says that "Chicago Fire" Season 5 will possibly not get released on its original air date which is October 11 this year.

Movie News Guide echoed the report by media outlets that the air date for "Chicago Fire" Season 5 will be months away from the original date of release and may probably fall in year 2017. The rumor got hyped when two other shows in the same network were released ahead of their air date.

Contrary to what rumors say, Inquisitr bump off this notion as "Chicago Fire" Season 5 is not facing the same dilemma as most postponed series face. Most of the shows that face delayed date of release usually have some serious problems under their hood. One of these takes toll on the show's viewership.

As for "Chicago Fire" Season 5, it reportedly has not faced any delays in their filming schedules and may stick to its original air date. CarterMatt also released a spoiler regarding the new season's story development based on the synopsis which was recently released.

And as the synopsis suggests, it seems that the firefighters still cannot find rest from everything that they're going through right now. The synopsis also brings fans into a closer look at Stella Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) in "Chicago Fire" Season 5 after she decided to use whatever she has to help the ill street kid she rescued from a tunnel fire.

Meanwhile, in "Chicago Fire" Season 5, all of the other firefighters are also coping and facing different situations in favor and against them. As for today, NBC still holds the same release date for the series which will fall on October 11 (Tuesday) at 10 PM.
