There are a lot of things going on in Florida when "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 kicked off. The previous seasons reveal comedic tension between Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), Jimmy Figgis and Captain Holt (Andre Braugher).

As the series is known for its hilarity, fans can expect getting more things to laugh about as Jake and Captain Holt's go through their undertakings. Movie News Guide confirms that the comic incidents will also revolve around actor Jim O'Heir (Parks and Recreation) who portrays Sheriff Reynolds' character in "Brooklyn Nine-nine" Season 4.

In "Brooklyn Nine-nine" Season 4 Episode 3, Sheriff Reynold is portrayed as a racist homophobic who will have a crucial role in making things a lot more sidesplitting with all of the other characters, especially with Jake and Captain Holt. The synopsis reveal that the Brooklyn precinct gang are also headed to Florida so they can join in with Jake and Holt in defeating Jimmy Figgis. However, their mission might not go as planned which will lead to their failure in hunting down the crime lord.

Jimmy Figgis' identity is not yet revealed in "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 Episode 2. Hidden Remote reports that both Jake and Captain Holt are still under witness protection. To avoid distress, the two decided to meet with U.S. Marshal Karen Haas (Maya Rudolph). They have set the location at an empty local movie theater to discuss their investigation about Jimmy Figgis.

Soon after that, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" Season 4 Episode 3 progresses with Sherriff Reynold's critical role after Jake and Captain Holt finally gets to leave Florida. They were pulled over by the sheriff and got interrogated when a stock of guns and bullets were found in their back seat. Because they were not able to keep their stories coordinated, Jake and Captain Holt ended up being locked up.

Just to make things easier for them to get out, they finally told the sheriff that they are detectives who are trying to find ways to haunt down Figgis, the crime lord. They ended up being a laughing stock under the sheriff's hands and were even made to talk to Figgis on the other line.
