"The Walking Dead" Season 7 spoilers reveal some speculations about the true identity of Negan, the leader of The Saviors who held Rick and his members in captive.

Everyone is aware that Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is evil and is engaged in ruthless killings but many are also curious about his what kind of person he is.

He once worked as a teacher and ping pong coach. He also has several wives but he doesn't beat them. He is killing people to seek justice. What he did to Rick and his group is a revenge since Rick jailed him for years in Alexandria and also killed many of his people.

In the season 6 finale of the series, 11 people from the team of Rick Grimes were kneeling in front of him as he choose who to kill with his Lucille. Everyone could be facing death in just a moment including Rick and his son Carl Grimes. There is greater chance for Carl to survive than Rick since Negan likes the presence of Carl.

Wet Paint reported that Carl and Negan will become closer like what is featured in The Walking Dead comics. Carl will become a survivor under the wings of Negan. But of course, this doesn't mean that Carl is totally safe.

Andrew Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, hinted that his encounter with Negan will change his life since he will become powerless and will lost confidence. He will lose control of what is going to happen and he will realize that it is a terrifying world.

“As the season finished, the story was about Rick being broken … realizing that basically everything that he thought has been turned upside down in the space pretty of much of a day … You meet a man who’s powerless, terrified for his own life and his son’s family life, and everybody else beside him,” Lincoln said according to Movie News Guide.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres on Oct. 23, Sunday, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
