After months filled with speculations regarding the project, Dwayne Johnson took it to Twitter to reveal the primary cast for the upcoming reboot of the adventure film "Jumanji."

It was revealed that Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan will be taking the lead roles alongside Johnson, who is set to headline the film. In addition, a set photo confirms how the four will look in the flick, as juxtaposed in what seems to be the jungle setting of the iconic board game.

While the production team has not revealed any details regarding the movie's storyline, Johnson has mentioned that the film's plot, aesthetic, and feel will be honoring the late Robin Williams. In recollection, Williams played as Alan Parish in the first film, with the entirety of the movie focused on his attempts to cope with the present era, whilst veering away from the ghost of Jumanji's deadly mechanics.

Meanwhile, Jack Black expressed his enthusiasm at the set following Johnson's revelation of the cast ensemble.

"We're in the raining #JumanjiJungle baby! Jack Black's "Gonna watch you bleeeed" at the end kills me. Phenomenal first week of shooting with my extremely talented and funny co-stars @kevinhart4real, @karengillanofficial and our resident rock and roller Jack Black! We've been battling the jungle elements daily and director Jake Kasdan and hard working boots on the ground film crew is raising the bar when it comes to delivering the goods. Makin' a good one for you over here in Hawaii and Jack's makin' em bleed. #OnLocation #Hawaii #Jumanji"

"Jumanji" is slated for a July 28, 2017 premiere.
