There is something going on with a Netflix Original which focuses on women in federal prison. With "Orange is the new Black" Season 5 coming in mid-2017, fans seem to have been grabbed by their collars as they continue to look for details about the upcoming season. Creators of the show release minute bullets from time to time just to keep fans at bay.

Who wouldn't be addicted, anyway? The series' season 4 ended up with a cliffhanger which left viewers full of questions about the last scene. Movie News Guide reports that Dayanara Diaz (Dascha Polanco) was spotted pointing a gun at Thomas Humphrey (Michael Torpey), Litchfield Penitentiary's Correctional Officer. This is a scene enough to make fans anticipate for "Orange is the new Black" Season 5.

Daya's recent act of going against an officer can make her face the worst on "Orange is the new Black" Season 5. Whether she will pull the trigger or not is a given question. But the consequence thereafter is another wide angle which the show can move along with.

A report from Master Herald says that Daya will see her worst times at "Orange is the new Black" Season 5. There is a possibility that she will be sent to a Special Housing Unit (SHU) following her irrevocable behavior of pointing a gun at Humphrey.

From that point on, it is still unclear, though, whether Humphrey will stay alive in "Orange is the new Black" Season 5. However, there's a possibility that Daya's alleged lover - John Bennet (Matt McGorry), a fellow Correctional Officer of Humphrey - may come into the scene again.

This twist will make things more interesting as the alleged lovers will confront a situation that will both stir their emotions and will confuse the boundaries of their roles in the show. "Orange is the New Black" Season 5 is slated to be released on Netflix by June 2017.
