We are now two months away from the global release of the highly anticipated action RPG "Final Fantasy XV," and it would seem like Square Enix isn't stopping from riding the hype train. It is even mitigated by the game's director Hajime Tabata's recent comments that its overall world map is huge, and incomparable from other games.

Speaking with Hardcore Gamer via a quick interview, Tabata mused that aside from the open-world design implied in recent demos, he revealed that it would take more than 100 hours to get through all of the side quests and main missions. Granted the said revelation, one can guess that FFXV is far different from the franchise's previous numbered entries, and that discussing its scope won't be that simple.

"It's not going to be a direct answer, unfortunately, because it's hard to compare, that said, we are developing and creating a game in which you travel or journey by car, so a certain degree of - we did need to create it in a larger scale or a big scale. A certain level of scale was needed in order to create a game that surrounded travel by car.

So even compared to other games, we can definitely say that it's something that's incomparable, something new, something that you've never experienced before in relation to some of the other games that are already out on the market," Tabata commented.

In addition to his recent interview, Square Enix also unveiled a new trailer during the height of Tokyo Game Show 2016, highlighting the game's storyline, some never-before seen cinematic cuts, and an emphasis on one of the game's villains, the Nifleheim chancellor Ardyn Izunia.

The team's even looking to build the path to FFXV's release further by uploading the last episode of the online animated miniseries "Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV." The last entry sees Noctis, as he battles the Daemon that slew his mother and dealt him a grave injury in the past, connecting to the events of the miniseries' first episode.

"Final Fantasy XV" hits shelves, November 29th.
