Months after the debut of "Pokemon GO," Niantic finally made the app's wristband attachment "Pokemon GO Plus" available in the market, following a string of positive reviews and raves from different media outfits and tech reviewers.

The said device is a $35 accessory that can link wirelessly to iOS or Android versions of the game via Bluetooth. Its main component is a tear -shaped plastic patterned with the design and color palette of a Pokeball. It can glow different colors dependent on the data or feedback it receives from the game. It also vibrates whenever the player encounters a wild Pokemon, or swings by a neaby PokeStop.

According to a review by Engadget, the device is helpful for players who are looking for a way to seek ease when it comes to playing "Pokemon GO." The device's vibration is powerful enough for the wearer to feel, allowing him to react promptly to the situation at hand. Furthermore, the device's button enables the player to retrieve all the items obtained from a PokeStop with just one press. The device will light up with a multitude of colors if the obtaining of items becomes successful.

The release of the "Pokemon GO Plus" apparently coincided with Apple's announcement that the latest iteration of the Apple Watch will feature seamless compatibility with Pokemon GO, albeit it is yet to be revealed as to how the device will fit with the app.

On the other hand, trainers may now enjoy walking alongside their favorite Pokemon with the "Buddy System" update, which was released last weekend.
