Apple recently revealed the latest iPhone 7 which featured a lot of changes. Most of the updates are quite impressive that social media, namely Facebook and Twitter, is ablaze about pre-ordering the latest phone from the tech giant. Sport aficionados particularly are eyeing the iPhone 7 thanks to its latest feature, which is a collaboration with Nike.

On September 7 in San Francisco, Nike brand President Trevor Edwards had introduced the Apple Watch Nike+. The device is specifically geared towards runners. Available by late October, the watch comes in two sizes namely 38mm which costs $369 and 42mm which costs $399. The sporty watch that features a huge neon display will be available in four different colors.

"With the Apple Watch Nike +, the world's best running club comes to life with everyone and everything you need to be better," stated Edwards.

So what's the huge difference between the Nike+ watch and the Apple watch? While both feature GPS, water resistance up to 50 meters, a new OS and processor, and brighter display, the Nike+ version offers "deep integration with the new Nike+ Run Club app."

Currently, the Nike+ Run Club app is available on the Apple and Android store. The app allows users to connect with runners as well as set their own goals, track their personal progress, and custom coaching.

"Today, sports and fitness are a bigger part of people's lives," added Edwards, to which Jeff Williams, Apple's chief operating officer stated in his introduction on the Apple watch, "We think Apple Watch is the ultimate device for a healthy life."

With Nike topping a $30 billion in sales last year, the sports giant brand aims to grow its sales up to $50 billion by the year 2020. The Apple Nike+ watch will hopefully increase their revenue. Aside from Nike, Apple has also partnered with Hermes.
