The Flash may be joining Batman and Superman on the big screen, but the same thing cannot be said for the emerald archer known as Green Arrow.

Stephen Amell confirmed at the recently concluded Salt Lake Comic Con event that "based on things that people had told," there are no concrete plans as of writing to introduce the aforementioned hero in the movies. He also looked back on his previous statement regarding the casting of Ezra Miller as the DC Extended Universe's version of The Flash. He expressed before that the timing is "less than appropriate," granted Grant Gustin's popularity as the TV's iteration of the Scarlet Speedster.

"I do not have a right to Oliver Queen. Someone played it before me. Someone voiced it before me. Someone will play it after me," Amell mused when asked regarding the possibility of a different actor taking over the role for DCEU.

He added, "I would not be upset at all."

In recollection, Justin Hartley portrayed the role of Oliver Queen in the long-running CW show "Smallville," opposite Tom Welling as Clark Kent. "Arrow" Season 4 regular Neil McDonough also voiced the character once in a short animated feature.

Aside from "Arrow," Amell also provided voice work for the version of the character in the hit video game, "Injustice."

Meanwhile, he was quizzed by the press regarding Flashpoint. During the conclusion of "The Flash's" second season, Barry Allen went back in time to alter the events surrounding his mother's death, which in turn, resulted in history changing itself. He mentioned that Flashpoint will affect "Arrow" in some capacity. However, he quickly dismissed his statement, and buckled back.

"Actually I sarcastically said "sure"... And then I seriously said, "I have no idea whatsoever"... but let's go with confirm, I guess."

As the recent trailer for "Arrow" Season 5 had implied, it would seem like we won't be feeling any of Flashpoint's effects on the show.

"Arrow" returns on The CW, October 5.
