With all the action happening on "Arrow," it's not surprising that its lead star, Stephen Amell, has a growing fondness for activities that require immense physical strength. In fact, one popular show has caught the attention of Amell - so much so that he wants to be the next "American Ninja Warrior."

"American Ninja Warrior" is now on its fourth season, which involves even more exhilarating obstacles that competitors have to go through. Despite the almost impossible challenges on the show, firefighters to social workers dare to compete in hopes of being named the next "American Ninja Warrior" and a chance to take home $500,000.

Aside from local folk hoping to become part of the show, one Hollywood celebrity wants to join in on the fun as well. "Arrow's" Amell recently tweeted about hoping to be part of the show.

"I would like to compete on your show in 2017," tweeted Amell, to which surprisingly the host of "American Ninja Warrior" Matt Iseman replied with, "We accept. Can we borrow the Arrow Cave for the City Finals?"

Immediately after the tweet, fans of both "Arrow" and "American Ninja Warrior" are hoping Amell does compete on the show. In other news concerning "Arrow," the show is set to return for its fifth season by October 5. However, fans of the show shouldn't expect seeing Deathstroke and the Suicide Squad on the show due to a divide between television shows and DC Films

"Diane Nelson and Geoff Johns - the people at Warner Bros. on the feature side, the people at Warner Bros. on the television side - are all in the business of making the best products for fans. Just because there may or may not be a Deathstroke in the DC Extended Universe doesn't mean Manu Bennett can't exist on our show," stated Amell.
