SHINee's Taemin is set to make a Japanese solo debut.

According to SHINee's official Japanese homepage, Taemin is in the working stage for his solo debut in Japan. Taemin is releasing his first Japanese solo mini album, entitled "Sayonara Hitori" (tentative title), on July 27.

The album will include five tracks, including a Japanese version of his recent first Korean studio album track "Press Your Number" which was released in February of this year.

On July 18, also the singer's birthday, Taemin is lined up to hold a two-day premium showcase commemorating his Japanese debut. The index of the event is said to be packed with approximately 8,000 local fans.

Taemin, is not only a singer, but also a dancer and actor. He debuted as a vocalist and main dancer of the group Shinee in May 2008. He began his acting career in 2009 with MBC's comedy Tae Hee, Hye Kyo, Ji Hyun as Junsu.

Taemin made his debut as a solo artist on August 15, 2014, with his first EP titled Ace, released on August 18, 2014, along with the title track "Danger". On February 23, 2016, Taemin launched his first studio album Press it, featuring the title track "Press Your Number".
