As the legendary racer, Michael Schumacher, lingers between life and death, the prayers and support for his wellbeing continue to throng. Despite fans' eagerness to know about the champion's health status, the family has stayed tightlipped, go so far as impose media blackout to ensure Schumachers' privacy in their testing times. The only updates are the one that come from his manager/spokesperson, Sabine Kehm.

Needless to say that this is a very tough time not just for the sport star himself but also for his family. While many respect the family's wish to remain private, there are others who are using this as an opportunity to gain attention and get the fans' hopes up. However, the truth is that unless his condition has been declared publicly by the family or Kehm or the star himself, these updates are nothing but rumors that will continue to surface.

Luca di Montezemolo, Ferrari President, said in February that Schumacher's recovery doesn't look very good. However, it is possible that the things may have changed in all these months. According to Di Montezemelo, the key to Schumacher's recovery lies in his mental strength. It was his grit and determination that made his seven times champion on the tracks and the former Ferrari boss believes that it is this strength that will pull him out of his dark times.

FIA president Jean Todt and Luca di Montezemelo knew Schumacher really well. They both can vouch for his stubbornness and feeling of competition. If he keeps his fighting spirit alive, it is possible to see the racing legend gracing the tracks once again, complete with his powerful smile.

It has been two years since the fatal accident in the Alps and the fans are still hoping for a recovery news about Schumacher's condition.
