As per latest news, "Tekken 7" has already released in Japan, confirms Katsuhiro Harada, series producer. "When the game makes the leap from arcades to console, it will be the most complete and enhanced version up to date," Harada said.

"We also have special content in the works that's sure to please PlayStation fans," Katsuhiro added.

As far as the release date is concerned, rumors say that the game will be released by the end of this year. However, nothing has been confirmed by Bandai Namco and no official date has been announced by Katsuhiro.

Meanwhile, there are also speculations that "Tekken 7" will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One. Even though Bandai Namco declined to comment on these rumors, news reports indicate that the title will be officially released on PS4. There are also talks about the title coming along with PlayStation VR support.

While "Tekken 7" is slated for a year-end release, the fans who are looking forward to play "Tekken X Street Fighter" may have to wait longer. Bandai Namco has decided to stall the development of the game because Capcom only recently launched "Street Fighter V."

According to Harada, since they don't want the fans to feel confused or torn between the two titles, they decided to delay "Tekken X Street Fighter," a game in collaboration with Capcom, to make way for "Street Fighter V."
