French champions Paris Saint Germain are known to spend big in the transfer market in their quest to become one of the European heavyweights and their big spending owners feel that the strategy to bring in the brightest talents to the club is certainly the best way to go about it. It seems that the club has already laid out the plan for the transfer activity this summer and according to reports in The Daily Mirro, PSG have made Manchester United's French star Anthony Martial one of their targets in the upcoming summer transfer window. It certainly comes as a bold move considering the fact that the highly talented Frenchman has been one of the few successes at Old Trafford this season following a big money move last summer from French club Monaco.

Manchester United bought the teenager last year for a reported fee of a whopping £36 million which shocked a lot of people since such a fee is unheard of when it comes to such young footballer but the club had obviously identified him as a huge talent and he proved his worth throughout the season by scoring crucial goals for the club other than being their standout player across all competitions. So, as one can see, it is highly unlikely that Manchester United are going to entertain any bids for the highly promising youngster, who will represent the French national team at the European Championships this year.

However, on the other hand, it must be noted that PSG have the financial strength to make a bid that migth be hard to refuse and if that sort of a bid does come along, then things could get interesting. In addition to that, Martial might himself be tempted to take up the offer since it will give him a passage back to his native france. As of not, it appears that Martial is one of the many options that PSG are weighing up as they seek to overhaul the squad following yet another disappointing season in the UEFA Champions League and the summer transfer window promises to be a frenetic one for the French club.
