So, if you had before assumed that Google's budget VR cardboard is nothing but trashy, thing again. Seems like there are more games and features headed to the Google's cardboard. The budget VR headset is available almost everywhere where there is strong presence of Google being present physically in your nation of residence. It was Google's decision to step into virtual reality through small steps and the cardboard being cheap was picked up by a lot of enthusiasts.

Meanwhile on the other hand, Nintendo has always been a bit more interested to experiment different stuff than the other console developers out there but the 1995 3D virtual reality console called the Virtual Boy was probably a bit ahead of its time? Also a bit ahead of the technology. The thing actually results in horrible experiences and some people even have admitted to headaches.

Now, if you keep exploring reddit, you might as well be well aware now that reddit has been the technology hub for a long time now since a small reddit post can actually get a lot of attention wanted or unwanted that's different. So a Redditor by the name of The-King-of-Spain decided to create a Virtual Boy emulator for Samsung Gear VR and Google Cardboard. The result? It rendered so perfectly that it played perfectly.

"After about 30 minutes of play time, I'm not experiencing any of the Virtual Boy's trademark motion sickness. There's also something to be said for playing the games in grayscale instead of the headache-inducing red," he wrote. "It's pretty cool to see Virtual Boy games in their full stereoscopic glory, but the added depth doesn't seem to add much value gameplay-wise." Check out his guides on reddit if you want a first-hand experience at playing the game
