Song Joong-ki News: Hallyu star donates entire appearance earnings from the Chinese version of ‘Running Man’

Hallyu Star Song Joong-ki reportedly donated his appearance fee from Chinese version of 'Running Man'. Song Joong-ki's label, Blossom Entertainment revealed, "Song Joong Ki has donated his entire appearance fee from 'Hurry Up Brother'. He intended to donate it from the beginning." However, The label did not reveal the exact amount or the charities receiving the donation. Allkpop reported.

On April 20, Song Joong Ki joined the filming of "Hurry Up, Brother" as a special guest. The cast arrived in Korea on April 18 and roam around Seoul to film a Korean special.

Before Song Joong Ki's appearance, the Korean "Running Man" members met with their Chinese counterparts on the show as well.

'Hurry Up, Brother' is carried by the former production of Korean 'Running Man' PD Im Hyung Taek. The cast of the variety show includes Deng Chao, Wong Cho Lam, Li Chen, Zheng Kai, Angelababy, and Luhan.

The episode featuring Song Joong Ki and the reunion of the Korean and Chinese "Running Man" members is believed to earn impressive viewer ratings particularly because of the Song Joong Ki immense popularity in China, after he lead the Korean drama 'Descendants of the Sun' as Captain Yoo Si Jin' which garners every attention of the viewers.

The episode is set to air on Zhiejiang Television on May 13 at 9 pm. (Soompi)
