Google, the mountain view based then internet search-giant is now one of the leading innovative firms all round the world. Right from smartwatches to health-monitors and then desktops to notebooks and finally smartphones, Google is everywhere. Even a basic search term on any of your smart phones might eventually take you up to a Google search page indicating the growth and success the way Sundar Pichai is leading the company.

The past few years Google has been in the lead to acquire start-ups even without second thoughts. There is no finite acquisition count since one or the other start-up is now slowly becoming a part of Google. However, in their recent split from Google themselves, the parent company Alphabet Inc. have not moved all of them under their revamped name, but this hasn't really put a halt on Google to keep searching for the "next big thing".

It now seems like Google have started to discover and nurture all their start-ups in-house. According to this long term investment, this proposition would help save Google their time, finances and even help them in the process of bring new names on board. With their new announcement about the launch of their start-up incubator Area 120, the report mentions that Bradley Horowitz of Google Plus will be at the helm being supported by Don Harrison. To get accepted to Area 120, all such small start-ups are required to send Google a business plan mandatorily and if they had to pass, they would land a spot in the Incubator to work full time on their ideas for several months.

While under Area 120 they would also have the opportunity to gain Google's investment if their project had to be successful and even separate themselves to become an individual entity. This is the exact same way how Google came out with Gmail along with Google newsstand and also AdSense which are all but successful off late.
