Kpop News: TWICE tops Music Charts after the release of their lead track “Cheer Up”

Following the success of their album with their latest track, "Cheer Up", the rookie girl group TWICE tops various music charts in South Korea.

As of April 26, the girl's ranked #1 starting from the midnight 1-2AM of major music stations like on Melon, Genie, Mnet, Bugs, Naver Music, Soribada, and Monkey3. The girls are still slaying on the music charts up until now. This is the second day of their ranking since the official release of their album.

Just on April 25, the girls officially released their album with the MV of their lead track "Cheer Up" and amazingly, within less than a day, the MV reached a million views. As of April 26, the MV surpassed 3 million views. That's a great implication that the girls successfully dropped their 2nd album.

Their latest track "Cheer Up" has a great rhythm that will make the listeners up to the beat with which they also find it so catchy and lively. The song is a combination of hip-hop, tropical house, with drum and bass genre of music. (Soompi)

Aside from their lead track "Cheer Up", the girl's album tracks that include 6 other songs, "Precious Love", "Touchdown", "Woohoo", "Wear Headphones", "When You Tap", and the CD-only "I'm Gonna Be A Star" also gain popularity.

Twice made their debut last year with their album "The Story Begins" in a theme relating to their personal lives and with their lead track "Like OOH-AHH" it also turned out to be successful which it makes the girl's fans very anticipated with their recent comeback.
