One of the biggest mysteries and most talked about topics for the gamers and fans of Kingdom of Hearts franchise is the release date of "kingdom of Hearts 3." However, despite all this, Square Enix has not revealed when the game will come out. But recent reports suggest that it will not be before 2017.

Reports suggest that fans have been eagerly waiting for "Kingdom of Hearts 3" for several years now. However, it was only last year when Square Enix revealed its gameplay and spoilers at E3. Between then and now, there has been silence as the developers remain quiet about its release date and other aspects.

It is surely disheartening for the fans that the game will likely come out in 2017. The rumors stem from the fact that Quinton Flynn, voice actor for Axel, has not even started recording his part yet, as has been previously reported. In a tweet he wrote, "Speaking of Axel, when is the new Kingdom Hearts going into production? Step it up. Quinton needs to pay his bills!" He also confirmed to a fan that he has not started any work for "Kingdom Hearts 3" yet.

Another reason why it seems more practical for the game to be deferred until next year is that it doesn't make strategic sense to release it alongside "Final Fantasy XV." Since Square Enix is already gearing up for the latter, releasing "Kingdom of Hearts 3" will only confuse the fan and divide the gamers between the two titles. Thus, "KH3" has not been given a date so far. From the looks of it, "KH3" will pave way for "Final Fantasy XV" first and then release next year in its full glory.
