"Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," a Netflix's series has been a popular happy show consistently for its last two seasons. However, it looks like Season 3 will take a slight darker turn. Not only will this show begin shooting the show later in year, its season 3 is expected to premier by next summer.

However, it appears that "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" season 3 will release much later

than anticipated, next year. The reason has been attributed to Kemper's pregnancy. As Tina Fey revealed at Tribeca Film Festival Q&A, since Kemper is expecting, it will push the shooting schedule into November, causing a delay in Season 3 premier later than the anticipated April launch.

"Normally we would start [writing 'Kimmy Schmidt'] in June. But this year we'll be starting in August and we'll start shooting in November. And we'll be ready to come back with season three by the end of next May," Tina Fey said.

The first season of the show premiered on Netflix on March 6, 2015. Thereafter, the show continued on NBC, before the Netflix move. Season 2 came out this weekend on April 15, airing longer than usual.

Even though the delay in new Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt episodes can be frustrating, it is still good to know that the show will get a third season, which is far better than being cancelled.

For season 2 of the show, the filming began in Summer to finish in time for April premier. The show took a while to naturally integrate Ellie Kemper's pregnancy into the show. While her exact due date is not known, Tina Fey confirms that the filming will start, albeit later than its schedule.
