Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Release Date, News and Rumors: News Leaks Bring More Info About the Phablet

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 has attracted a lot of speculations about the phone. According to the recent reports, a screenshot was received from a tipster, CPU-Z, who claims to be an employee of the South Korean company, a fact that is not confirmed yet.

This screenshot hinted that the sixth installment of Galaxy Note lineup will have a screen size up to 5.77-inches and 1440x2560 QHD resolution. It is also expected to come equipped with Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC along with 6GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space.

Moreover, the image also implied that as far as the design is concerned, Galaxy Note 6 will look somewhat similar to Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. However, in overall appearance, it will be slightly heavier than its predecessor. The new Note 6 will have water and dust protection along with 3,700 mAh battery for improved life.

As for its release date, it has already been speculated that this phablet will be launched sometime in August.

The information in this article has been sourced from China's Social Media platform, Weibo, which alleged that there will be other models for Galaxy Note 6 that will be released.

Other phone specs that are expected to make it into the device include 12-megapixel rear camera with an additional face detection, autofocus and optical image stabilization along with LED flash for better pictures at night. The front camera will be 5-MP to create better selfies.
