According to the speculation, the new MacBook Pro should likely be launched in June sometime. However, the only shake-up to this well laid plan is that MacBook line may eliminate MacBook Air and reposition its MacBook pros which makes things all more intriguing. Apple enthusiasts now wait to see what the company has in store for them. While it is expected that the MacBook Pro will be released sometime this summer, the exact date is not confirmed yet.

Rumor has it that the delay in MacBook Pro release could be due to delayed Intel processors that came in later than expected. It looks like new Apple MacBook will carry Intel SkyLake processor under its hood and feature retina display. This is perhaps the reason why MacBook Pro 13-inch was a no-show at the March event.

Another piece of gossip indicates that there is a very high possibility that MacBook Pro will release at WWDC in June.

But the big question is, what will MacBook Pro look like. If you like Apple's thin, sleek notebooks with a powerful processor, then MacBook Pro 2016 will be an exciting release for you.

Rumor has it that the new Apple notebook will feature the same design as other MacBook Pros. However, there may be additional color options such as Rose Gold, Space gray, Silver and gold. Another report from Jack March reveals that an inside source told him that new Apple laptops will be thinner Pro models instead of Air variant.

It is also speculated that the new MacBook pro will come with USB-C port or an all-in-one connection solution, something like ThunderBolt 3 over USB-C. With this new technology, MacBook Pro will become capable of power dual 4K display or a 5K display. However, since Apple doesn't sell this monitors yet, it is indeed something that the fans are looking forward to. Users can also expect to use TouchID integrated into Macs for a biometric login. If this happens, Apple Pay for Mac may also soon follow.
