Syrio Forel, Arya Stark's dancing teacher from Season 1, was expected to be alive somewhere. However, Game of Thrones bosses crushed fan's hopes and dreams confirming that he is not coming back.

Syrio allegedly lost his own life protecting hers and the fans speculated that he may be alive as his death was never seen on-screen, giving birth to several fan theories.

Maisie was amongst many who speculated his death. She told IGN, "I always was like, 'Oh, no, I feel like he's still alive'. I always had my own theory that he and Jaqen were the same person."

She continued: "I was like, 'Oh, OK.' So that put that to bed really quickly, but I guess we can all still dream." Williams, 18, claimed she still held out hope that Syrio would have a different fate in the books.

Actress added on, "Maybe if it's not in the show, it will be in the book, and that will be great," she added. Williams recently teased fans about the new season that will "hate it, but love it," suggesting that there is a lot of action that will rock the fans in their seats.

As the show premier date nears, the fan theories are at an all time high. Season will be telecast on Sky Atlantic at 2 am on 25 April at the same time as it airs in US. A repeat telecast of the show will air at 9pm the same day.
