The Transformers franchise has just expanded with an increasingly complex storyline and more surprising twists added in every subsequent films. After the release of three box office hits, series is now bound for a fourth sequel with Transformers 5 as a tentative title. Interestingly, Nickelodeon star Isabela Moner is being tapped to assume Megan Fox's role in the movie.

Latest roundups suggest that Moner is being considered for the role with a brief description of the character she is being courted for: Izabella.

"A street-smart tomboy who grew up an orphan and was raised in foster care. She counts a small Transformer as her only friend... until she meets [Mark] Wahlberg's heroic inventor Cade Yeager," the description reads as quoted from The Wrap.

For the uninitiated, Isabela Moner is a familiar face in the Nickelodeon world. So her name may not easily strike your memory for quick recall but if you have children then they might say she'd been in a number of voice work and acting roles. Her voice work includes 'Dora and Friends: Into the City' and her live-action roles include '100 Things to Do before High School', J.K. Simmons short-lived sitcom 'Growing up Fisher', and most recently the 'Legends of the Hidden Temple' movie as reported by Cinema Blend.

The storyline of Michael Bay's upcoming sequel has not yet been revealed although there are predictions that the next film may pick up where the last movie left off. In case you forget about the previous movie, Autobots were bent on a quest in search of The Creators.

The ending of the last movie made some fans speculate of the future movie set in outer space but with character of Izabella now being confirmed, the plot is likely to be partly set on Earth.

The movie is slated for theatrical release on US soil on June 23, 2017 as reported by International Business Times.
