The first trailer for Marvel's Doctor Strange did not fail to fascinate fans. It gives a hint as to what to expect from the upcoming film, which is scheduled for a November 4, 2016 release.

The trailer was revealed by Benedict Cumberbatch himself on Tuesday on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show. The trailer was a visual delight, full of scary yet fantastical scenes.

The movie features, Benedict Cumberbatch, who plays the role of a psychedelic superhero. The trailer shows him speaking with an American accent. For fans, hearing a Brit speak in American accent was not only weird, but also the most alarming part of the trailer. The movie also stars Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams and Michael Stuhlbarg.

Doctor Strange, directed by Scott Derrickson, is a story of Stephen Strange, a character played by Cumberbatch. Strange is a renowned neurosurgeon who unveils the world of magic and alternate dimension, not known to anyone, after a near-fatal car accident.

Tilda Swinton plays the role of the Ancient One, Strange's mentor, in the film. The trailer shows the mentor speaking to Strange and telling him that he resembles a man looking at the world through a keyhole. And though he tried to widen the gap and save many lives with this work, but reality can be one of many.

The two-minute trailer also featured Rachel McAdams. She is playing the role of a night shift nurse in the movie. Speculations are that she might even play the role of Doctor Strange's romantic interest. However, nothing has been confirmed yet about this.

No matter what Cumberbatch's look is in the movie, he is an attractive, wealthy and a brilliant man. However, in the comics, Strange is a selfish and a callous man who only cares about himself and his money.
