'Descendants of the Sun' News: Writer Kim Eun Sook talks about the finale of the drama

The final episode of 'Descendants of the Sun' will set to air on April 13 and 14 and many viewers have been hoping for a good ending.

Many viewers seem to be worried for probabilities of a deviant ending that might happen the same as the drama's 'Lovers in Paris'.

The writer Kim Eun Sook guessed on KBS1 radio and talks about the drama.

On KBS1 radio, "Hello This Is Hong Ji Myung," and opened up with the talk about rumors regarding the ending of the drama spreading across the social media. Kim Eun Sook then commented, "I've heard people say that the whole thing is Yoo Si Jin's dream. If that is really how the drama ended, I will probably have to immigrate to another country because I wouldn't be able to live in Korea," Signifying the possible reaction of the viewers if the drama would end in a bizarre twist.

 "I've been scolded a lot by viewers regarding my endings. I don't think I will be making the same mistake again and I want to tell viewers to confirm the ending after watching the live broadcast."

The writer also shared, "I've been rebuked by a lot of viewers because of the endings I wrote. I don't think I want to make the same mistake again. I want to tell the viewers not to be worried and continue to watch the final episodes".

Kim Eun Seok also said that she's been grateful for the support the viewers gave to the drama. She even didn't expect that everyone would appreciate it. She shared that she was a bit afraid.

Kim Eun Seok then mentioned, "I thought that I will never have a big break like this again in my life so I'm just enjoying it right now. I want to take this opportunity to thank Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo, Jin Goo, and Kim Ji Won for all of their hard work."

Last 2 episodes will set to air on April 13 and 14 on KBS2 at 10pm (KST)
