Tim Tebow fans are requesting that the former Broncos player, returns to the team.

A petition on Change.org has been started by a fellow fan to bring Tebow back the Broncos. On Friday, it had just 440 signatures, but from Saturday morning, there are around 1,300 "supporters" who seem to want the same thing.

"The Denver Broncos have lost their two main quarterbacks from their epic 2016 Super Bowl Championship winning season. We need a proven winner to continue to move this team in the right direction," writes the petitioner. "Coach Gary Kubiak's offense would thrive with Tebow under center. He and the legendary John Elway can make this happen. We dont need a subpar throwaway from some other team, we need an original Bronco who has the fire, desire, and love of the game to play as a Bronco again! As a bonus the Bronco fans would be ecstatic! He just wins, we all know this! #TebowTime"

With Brock Osweiler moving to Houston and Peyton Manning retired, it appears that the football team needs a strong quarterback. That is indeed the case with the team. Broncos Coach and General Manager shared about their efforts in picking the right quarterback at the NFL draft this month, NBC Sports reports.

The club has been having private workouts with many potential quarterbacks, with Paxton Lynch from Memphis being the most recent one, reports ABC News.

Some news reporters feel the pick is highly unlikely because his previous infamous cut from the team.

247 Sports reports, "The Broncos traded Tebow to the Jets in 2012. That happened only a few months after an unforgettable run where he led the Broncos to six straight wins and a stunning postseason victory over the Steelers. General manager John Elway ditched him only a few months after that, so it's safe to say the chances are slim that Tebow returns to Colorado."

Tebow also had brief stretches with the Patriots in 2014 and Eagles in 2015.
