According to the recent news, Zelda Wii U is influenced by Twilight Princess HD. While it may seem to be in a testing phase right now and the game is still far away, yet what is this influence that they are talking about?

It is strange for Twilight Princess HD to influence Zelda Wii U and this is for two reasons - firstly because Zelda Wii U has been in the development phase for quite some time now. It is surprising to learn that there are still parts of the game that Nintendo might change. However, at the same time, they may have been working on this port for over a year for Twilight Princess HD to make a difference in Zelda Wii U. The changes would have likely incorporated when former was in the planning stage while latter was half way through.

The point to note here is that Twilight Princess was released a decade ago. It makes sense if Zelda Wii U's lessons from the game may have been integrated long ago. This means that all the lessons that Twilight Princess HD gave to Eiji Aonuma and his team of developers were probably more compatible to the port rather than the game itself. The game development, handled by Zelda team, was their first experience with Wii U hardware and software. From that standpoint, it makes absolute sense as the experience of developing that game would certainly influence Zelda Wii U.

The fans are now eagerly awaiting the release of the game. To appease the impatient fans, game producer, Eiji Aonuma, stated that this time the game will have something new to offer.
