According to recent reports, "Kingdom Hearts 3" will most likely be released in 2017, even though a pre-order of the game has already surfaced on Amazon. The listing says, "the item will be released on [Dec.] 30, 2016." However, it is not clear if the fans will be able to get hold of the game immediately after ordering.

The Amazon listing also pointed out, "Customers may have received an email from Amazon stating that this title is scheduled to release on [Jan. 2, 2017]. Please note that the placeholder release date for this game is [Dec. 31, 2016], and [Jan. 1, 2017] just happens to be the next shipping day after that placeholder date. No actual release date is confirmed at this time. Apologies for any confusion this may have caused." Amazon listing suggests that the gamers will most likely get hold of KH3 in 2017.

Game creator, Tetsuya Nomura, talked in an interview about recent developments as well as his partnership with Disney.

When enquired about his relationship with Disney during the development of game, he said, "I don't feel they inhibited anything. The Disney worlds that appear within our game are their franchise so they're interested in maintaining those worlds. But anything unique to Kingdom Hearts hasn't been a source of disagreement from Disney."

In a Q&A session at Albuquerque Comic Con 2016 in New Mexico, the voice behind Winnie the Pooh and Tiger, Jum Cummings, hinted that that recording was over and that it was fun to record Tiger voicing.

There is no official announcement by Square Enix and Disney about adding another character to "Kingdom Hearts 3." The gamers will have to wait until 2017 to confirm the speculations.
