The online space is trending with talks of musical veteran, Paul McCartney becoming a part of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean 5'.

If rumors are to be believed, this would not be one of the best of McCartney after his majestic and popular performances in films such as 'A Hard Day's Night' as well as 'Help!' with the famous band - 'The Beatles'. However, this may be deemed as one of the most intriguing inclusion of the character in the 'Dead Men Tell No Tales' as there are speculations over what would the musical expert would play in the new movie.

There is no precise answer or indication of this, however, according to sources, there are a few speculations or possibilities which are being weighed upon. McCartney would be playing an extremely important role, as a significant part has been characterized around him. There have been presumptions that the rock star could play the role of a top tier pirate wherein he could leverage on his natural wildness and plunder and set villages on fire. There have been previous occasions when rock stars have played pirates and have done complete justice to the role. Keith Richards is another example of a rock star playing similar characters in World's End and Captain Teague. However, there has been certain revelation that if the duo shared screen, they could create a lot of magic.

The other hypothesis which surfaced is that McCarthy could possibly take a more monstrous role by playing a sea monster. However, this possibility is quite unlikely as they already have an antagonist in the form of Javier Bardem, playing as Captain Salazar. Therefore, the possible role of McCarthy could be more subtle as a legend of sea lore.

Again, he could also play a more serious role of a Commodore or an Admiral in the British Navy safeguarding the waters. Well, it is only time that will put more clarity on these hypotheses.
