Ahead of the free agent season this July, Cleveland Cavaliers' lead player LeBron James is getting more than the usual amount of attention lately after his recent social media behavior is churning out a whole lot of controversial speculations about his purported departure from the Cavs this summer.

For Knicks' Carmelo Anthony, the recent Twitter commotion over James' action to unfollow his Cleveland team was certainly not the same kind of drama he usually has to deal with his New York team.

"[The Cavaliers'] drama is more comical. It's more getting off of Twitter. Know what I mean? It's always something that they blow up. Him unfollowing the organization. Him shutting his Twitter down. It is always something over there along those lines. Over here it's drama, a different type of drama over here," laughingly chuckled as quoted by ESPN.

With too many distractions, James may not be in an effective position to bolster's Cav's effort to secure an NBA title. Analysts observe James is in a 'playoff mode' as he is reportedly eyeing to opt out from his Cleveland contract in the offseason in search for better playing environment.

However, James retorted that unfollowing his current team has nothing to do with speculations of jumping aboard to another ship this summer. He explained that he did it on purpose as he 'mentally' prepares for the playoffs minus all the social media distractions.

"So mentally I'm just being a little more sharper minded as of late, just gearing toward it. Understanding that it is right around the corner and it's going to be very, very challenging," explained James, Latin Post reported.

In the latest roundup by USA Today, the Cavs are looking forward to fending off a surging rise of Toronto Raptors whose recent gains may well threaten Cleveland's number one spot in the Eastern Conference.

The Knicks, on the other, hand, are struggling to minimize further losses following Derek Fisher's dismissal as head coach back in February. With tremendous pressure bearing him down, Anthony may be forced out of the team when the season ends.
