With a spectacular career record of 62 wins and 9 losses and 45 knock-outs Roy Jones Jr. added another pearl to his crown by defeating Vyron Philips on Sunday night, this fight was a part of UR Fight internet pay-per-view watch at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. Roy Jones Jr. comfortable crushed the challenge of his opponent and registered a convincing victory here on the Sunday night.

The whole fixing of this present fight started out when an offer was released stating that a lucky fan would get an opportunity to win a whooping sum of $100,000, provided if they were able upset the former four division world champion Roy Jones Jr. In order to get a shot at the fight, the fans had to submit their videos to UR Fight explaining the reason why the organisers should choose them to fight against the former champion. After the prolonged process of selection, an unknown 33 year old MMA Fighter Vyron Philips was selected as the contender to fight the former champ and was given a shot at securing a prize amount $100,000. It was reported that Vyron Philips was a MMA Fighter who had meek record of 5 wins and 3 losses, and was also said that he had a very minor background at fighting in the amateur boxing level.

But the final smile was on Roy Jones Jr's face when he comfortably outshined the opponent in just two rounds of the match. It is to be noted that the last time Roy Jones was on the ring for a fight, he was brutally knocked out by former cruiserweight champion EnzoMaccarinelli in a match held in Russia. It took only four rounds for EnzoMaccarinelli to out show Roy Jones Jr. But when it comes to retirement decisions he still hasn't come out with any decisions, but this fight makes us and him think that he can still continue.
