Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been reinvented several times in an effort to make the franchise more appealing and relevant across its inter-generational fan base. The upcoming sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, is set to revive the turtles' archenemy back into action with a new costume.

Shredder is a villainous character and the quintessential symbol of everything that the half-shell iconic heroes are fighting against. In the 2014 movie, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello appeared to have defeated Shredder for good only to reappear in the Sequel with an even more vengeful spirit.

Playing the role is Brian Tee who subsequently replaced Tohoru Masamune, the original actor who played the antagonist character.

Tee offered his mainly young viewers a rare treat of getting a glimpse of his new costume which appeared to have been a more faithful rendition of the original comics and cartoons.

"Ladies and gentlemen... I give you... The... #SHREDDER," Tee wrote on Twitter as he revealed the costume to fans based on a report by UPI.

The makers of the movie appeared to have rectified the deviation of Shredder's costume in the previous film featuring multiple blades beneath the ninja dark arts master's spiky metal armor in article featured on Screen Rant.

Joining Shredder's bad guy league in the movie are Gary Anthony Williams and WWE Superstar Sheamus who both play Bebop and Rocksteady respectively. Megan Fox (April O'Neil) is also set to make a comeback along with her extremely loyal camera man.

Meanwhile, the new faces in the movie include Stephen Amell screening the vigilante Casey Jones, Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman the scientist, and Laura Linney as the reporter Rebecca Vincent as mentioned in a Reality TV World news report. The highly anticipated movie will hit the theaters on June 3.
