Intel is known to have caught their big break as they are rumored to supply the new iPhones 7 with the modems, reports Venturebeat. Intel has recently finished working on the 7360 LTE chip which has made Apple turn its attention to using it as their supplier. This will be a massive shift for Apple who has so far only used Qualcomm, current supplier of all the modems in iPhones.

According to Expert Reviews, the new Apple iPhone 7, predecessor to the newly launched iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, will most likely be released by September 2016. This handset is rumored to have a completely new design and will not look like any iPhone before. Although this calls for a lot of changes but the users would like to see better screen, faster processor and even better camera quality. The other set of rumors say that the latest offering from Apple, iPhone 7, may even be waterproof. As per the new information, the new iPhone will be a looker. It will be thinner and will be much sleeker looking with its regular Apple minimalist design features.

As per AppleInsider, the new iPhone will be 6-6.5 mm thick which will make it about as slim as the iPod touch or the incredibly slim iPad Air 2. However, the experts question if the phone will become thinner, what happens to the battery?

As reported by Pocket-Lint, so far Apple has confirmed absolutely nothing as far as iPhone 7 is concerned. However, it is predicted that the variants 7 and 7 Plus will be made available second half next year. Apple follows design patterns in which every 2nd year the iPhone gets a spruce up. By this logic, iPhone 7 should many more changes from the current iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
