All signs are pointing to an early 2016 release date for George R.R. Martin's sixth book, "Winds of Winter." The book is a part of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, which the HBO hit TV show, "Games of Thrones" is based on.

A Polish website, via Winteriscoming.net, reportedly claimed that translator Michal Jakuszewski is expecting to receive the manuscript by the end of the year so that he can start translating the book into Polish. Fans are hoping that this latest report means that the book will be released within the next few months.

"Michał Jakuszewski confirmed that he was asked by the Zysk publishing house to save his time by the end of the year for translating the Winds of Winter, and although the translator seemed to be a bit skeptical about this news, it is undoubtedly a glimmer of hope for many of us," the website wrote according to the Independent.

Fans cannot wait to find out Jon Snow's fate in "Winds of Winter." At the very end of "A Dance of Dragons" and season 5 of "Games of Thrones," the men of the Night's Watch stabbed Snow and left him to die. Although the show's producers repeatedly stated that Snow is dead, Martin has hinted to the possibility that Snow is alive in the books at least.

Although Martin did not say whether Snow is alive or dead, he reminded fans that anything can happen in his books. One of the most popular theories circulating the web about Snow's fate is claiming that Melisandre will be bringing him back to life.

Snow, played by Kit Harington, has also been spotted filming scenes in Belfast so it seems like he is very much alive in the show as well. Harington was reportedly filming an epic battle scene where he will allegedly try to win back Winterfell by the Boltons.

"Games of Thrones" season 6 and "Winds of Winter" will be coming out next year.
