Gamers can get up close and personal with their own basketball players in the newest edition of NBA 2K16, which hits stores tomorrow.

In this game, users will follow their player's journey starting from high school and ending in the NBA under the MyCareer mode, as told by Nunzio Ingrassia of Foxsports.com. The mode will begin in high school where the player must play in three games before getting recruited by colleges. The 10 colleges featured include UCLA, Kansas, Georgetown, Louisville, Arizona, Connecticut, Texas, Villanova, Wisconsin and Michigan.

On the collegiate level, the player must participate in six games. The performance is then used to determine the player's draft position. After getting drafted, the player will be on the court alongside the league's best players. As the player's skills improve, his celebrity status will increase along with the number of endorsement opportunities. The MyPlayer mode starts after the rookie season is over (Read Zach Harper of CBSSports.com's review here).

Users can also play in two modes known as 2K Pro Am and My Park.

Ingrassia detailed these two modes:

"2K Pro Am is more of a traditional 5-on-5 mode but it is highly customizable. Everything from your team's logo, court and jerseys can be tweaked to your liking, even giving you the ability to upload your own custom logos.

In My Park, you are asked to pledge your allegiance to one of three clubs -- Old Town Flyers, Rivet City Roughriders or Sunset Beach Ballers -- each of which provide specific attribute boosts. This mode is more of a pick-up game setting -- outdoor courts with fewer fouls and the winner is determined by reaching 21 points before the opposition.

You can play with friends in either of these modes against other players, and your performance can grant you in-game rewards (accessories like headbands, arm sleeves, etc.) and My Park rep, which is doled out depending on your team's success and your individual play."

NBA 2K16 can be played on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
