Austin Matelson and Liz Nolan's romance on "Big Brother 17" reportedly survived week 11.

According to the Inquisitr, the couple hit a rough patch after Liz reportedly got upset with Austin over how the Veto competition carried out. During the live feeds, Liz stated that Austin could have let her sister Julia Nolan win the Veto competition (Austin and Liz were nominated for eviction on Sunday night after Steve won the Head of Household).

Buddy TV wrote in regards to the nomination:

"Indeed, Steve nominates Austin and Liz. He says that he likes them as people, but he needs to do what's best for his game. Liz starts crying and runs away to her bed before Steve's speech is even over.

Liz feels betrayed because she and her sister have been so nice to Steve. Yes, but so have Austin, Vanessa and Johnny Mac. Also, smart people don't play this game personally. But since Liz always nominates the two people she hates the most (or likes the least), she can't understand that."

The exact details of the Veto competition, however, are still unclear since the episode does not air until Wednesday, Sept 9.

Fan site, Morty's TV, reported that in the meantime, before the live eviction, Austin and Liz have appeared to be over the drama. During the night, Liz went into Austin's bed and ended the tensions that have been growing between him. It is unclear whether or not Liz is playing Austin or is she has simply forgiven him.

If Liz truly has let the drama go, the "Austwins," which is the trio's nickname, can remain strong and Vanessa Rousso's plan to break them up would have seemingly failed. However, a lot can happen between now and the live eviction.

Vanessa had convinced Steve that the "Austwins" needed to be broken up. Steve, who was loyal to both sides, had to choose the best option for his game.
