Big is better for just a night, women have revealed about penis size in a new study.

The study on women's preferences for penis size from researchers at UCLA and University of New Mexico shows that the average penis size is good enough in long-term relationship, implying that manhood size should not be a concern for the average man if he is in it for the long haul. On the other hand, having a bigger than usual appendage, is certainly desirable for the fairer sex during passionate one-night stands.

"Women preferred a penis of slightly larger circumference and length for one-time (length = 6.4 inches/16.3 cm, circumference = 5.0 inches/12.7 cm) versus long-term (length = 6.3 inches/16.0 cm, circumference = 4.8 inches/12.2 cm) sexual partners," researchers wrote in journal PLOS One.

For the study, researchers showed participants 3D models of penises varying in length and girth. The 75 women in the study were then asked to pick one for each category- one-night stand and long-term relationship, Daily Mail reports.

Participants were also asked to fill a questionnaire on sexual history, penis preferences and current sexual functioning. They were then put through a computer task that tested memory recall of the penis models they chose. Researchers found that most women recalled girth but erred with length. This finding is supported by commonly held notion that women may give more importance to girth than length.
