Charlie Sheen took Owen Wilson's comparison between him and presidential candidate Donald Trump in an interview very seriously.

"dear O. Wilson they took ur comment out of context! I'm honored! thank u! If Trump will hv me I'd be his VP in a heartbeat! the former Two And A Half Men posted on Twitter on Friday, ET Canada reported.

Apparently, Sheen has read Wilson's interview with Politica when he drew parallels between Trump's campaign and the 46-year old's volatile behavior in recent years.

"Here's somebody who's not following that script. It's like when Charlie Sheen was doing that stuff. Like, wow! He's answering a question completely honestly, and in an entertaining way. You sort of feel he could be a character from Network," Wilson said in reference to Trump as mentioned in a report from MSN.

Sheen's recent endorsement for Trump has been totally in contrast with his previous post a week ago when he slammed the presidential candidate calling him "a sad & silly homunculus."

"Trump you're a sad & silly homunculus your words as poignant as a sack of cat farts...You're a shame pile of idiocy," he tweeted.

Donald Trump is yet to respond to Sheen's offer being a running mate.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop expressed its willingness to attend the Trump-Sheen victory party at the White House and would like to propose some major workout of the Lincoln Bedroom.

The Madmen actor, who was born Carlos Estevez, can also make use of his Latino roots to regain immigrant Latinos' vote of confidence for Trump who earlier condemned them for coming in the US and calling them 'rapists' and 'criminals'.
