'Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice' has not been released yet but rumors of an even bigger DC movie have surfaced.

Henry Cavill, who plays Superman, recently spoke to Uproxx while promoting "Man from U.N.C.L.E" about the future of the superhero movies.

"There's a big plan in place at WB for the whole DC franchise," the British actor said in response to a question about how the plot for the upcoming movie connects to "Man of Steel." "So, all of this stuff ties in. They're not thinking from movie to movie, they're thinking from a big tent pole type thing and each story has its own story, which is attached to the major issue. Yeah, there's a big plan."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is not the sequel to "Man of Steel" even though the plot is tied to the ending of "Man of Steel."

In the upcoming movie, fans can also expect an epic fight involving Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). In the second trailer released in July, Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince is seen fighting an unidentified opponent who rumors are now claiming is Doomsday, one of Superman's biggest villains.

Although Doomsday has not been confirmed, there are several rumors claiming that he will star alongside Lex Luther (Jesse Eisenberg) as the villains. There is also another report by Movie Pilot stating that Wonder Woman could be a double agent who is spying on LexCorp. When she finds out about Doomsday, she will reportedly be the one to take him out.

The article reads:

"The hottest rumor right now is that while Batman and Superman bicker, Wonder Woman will be the one to take Doomsday out. Another rumor is that she is actually working for Lex, given that she's been seen hanging around the LexCorp offices. But what if both are true? Diana Prince could be working undercover at LexCorp, secretly investigating Lex while ingratiating herself to him. She might let slip that she has superpowers so he will trust her, and include her as an ally in his plans. For Lex, she could be a safety net to Doomsday, ready to tame the beast once he's slain Superman. But at the last minute, Wonder Woman could show her true colors and turn on Lex, killing Doomsday and ruining his plans. Until Batman v Superman is released, all we have is speculation."

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be released on March 23, 2016. .
