Henry Cavill has finally addressed the rumors that he will be starring in "Fifty Shades Darker," the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey."

While promoting his new film, "Man from U.N.C.L.E," with co-star Armie Hammer, Cavill was asked whether or not there was any truth to the rumors that have been circulating the Internet for weeks. Cavill's answer was short and coy, giving fans hope that they will see the British hunk in the erotica film.

"Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now," Cavill said to E! News.

The actor said, reported by ET, "How can I make this interesting? I think it's probably best that I say nothing for now."

"Just do it," Hammer jokingly said. Hammer was once rumored to be in the mix to play the movie's lead, Christian Grey.

Cavill is rumored to be playing Jack Hyde, the boss of Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson). For the record, Hyde is "described as a man with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your hear." The last time we check, Cavill definitely has sparkling blue eyes.

In the books, written by E.L. James, Hyde, who is instantly attracted to Steele, causes Grey (Jamie Dornan) to get jealous. In the first movie, Grey and Steele started a romantic relationship, which hit a bumpy road when Grey introduced Steele to the world of BDSM. At the end of the movie, Steele decided that his world was too much for her. They will reunite in "Fifty Shades Darker."

The sequel, which does not have a director yet, is expected to start production at the beginning of next year. There are rumors that Charlize Theron will play Elena Lincoln/ Mrs. Robinson, Grey's former dominant and the woman who introduced him to BDSM, and newcomer Cara Delevinge will play Leila Williams, one of Grey's previous submissives.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is scheduled to hit theaters on Valentine's Day in 2017.
