Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega insist not to step down from her throne after her country pressured her to give up his crown after Donald Trump's condemnation against immigrant Latin American people in the US.

In an interview with Latina Magazine on Monday, the reigning beauty queen even said that she has a binding contract with the Miss Universe organization that she has to follow for one year, Business Insider said.

"By not renouncing my crown has nothing to do with what I do or what I don't do. I have a legally binding contract and legal relationship with the organization and it's not so easy for me, like the artists have done, to renounce and say, 'No. I'm not working for you anymore.' I have a contract of 1 year. So it's a much more complicated situation," she said during the interview.

Vega also find Trump's comment about her being a 'hypocrite' 'comical' further saying that she would not back down with her decision stay on her throne.

"The most comical is using the word: hypocrisy. But I think what I'm doing is the least hypocrite thing I can do by using my voice clearly. "

"I'm going to keep going forward and refuse his comments to affect me. Miss Universe the organization and I are much more than what that man says on Twitter."

Earlier last week, the 22-year old beauty queen expressed on Instagram her sympathy for the Latino community in the US further saying, in another post on Sunday last week, that Donald Trump's statement is 'unjust' and 'hurtful,' Fox News reports.

"As a Colombian and as Miss Universe, I want to show my support and validate the sentiments of the Latin community," announced on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the pageant organizer-presidential candidate did not lose his support from the Obama Administration in converting the Old Post Office Pavilion on 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue into a new Trump International Hotel in Washington, according to The Blaze.

This came out despite NBC, Univision and other organization's move to oust Trump for earlier negative comments against Mexicans.
