Sean Penn And Charlize Theron Breakup Updates: Actor Drunk Still Wants Ex Despite Her Silent Treatment

Sean Penn tried to win Charlize Theron back after the latter 'iced him out' by not responding to his calls and texts.

According to Radar Online, The Gunman actor tried to reconnect with Charlize by drunk dialing her after attending the U2's special May 28 concert at the Roxy Nightclub in Los Angeles.

"During the after-party, Sean was very much acting like a single man on the prowl," the source told the publication.

"Sean had been partying with the band, and he decided to call Charlize very late - it was obvious he was feeling no pain. He wanted to go over to Charlize's house, but she said no way...she refused to be a booty call!" the source added.

This is not the first time that The Huntsman actress turned down the 54-year old's advances. In a previous report from US Weekly via Belfast Telegraph, the actress has stopped responding to him since their trip in Venice for the Cannes Film Festival.

Despite their sweetness at the prestigious event, a source reported this: "Charlize wasn't responding to his calls and texts. She just cut it off."

"Sean and Charlize looked very happy together while at the Hotel Du Cap, with no signs of tension or a breakup."

Rumors of the breakup between Sean Penn and Charlize Theron spread after their Europe tour in May. Mail Online recalled People's previous report saying that the couple, who was engaged last December, was not staying in the same roof anymore.

Charlize and her son Jackson were staying at her house in Hollywood while Sean was in his Malibu home.
