Comedian Kevin Hart reached out to his 19.6 million fans on Twitter and encouraged those who were ready to run to join him in a 5K.

The 35-year-old actor tweeted on Friday, "Up & at it...we are about to get this spontaneous 5K run in this morning!!! I love motivating people & making them better....lets goooooo #RallyWithKevin #HealthIsWealth #Motivation."

The actor also provided this link with his tweet. He later tweeted, "I'm serious about this" and "This is about health & challenging yourselves."

Hart showed up at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The 5K was a part of the actor's partnership with Rally Health. He helped organize the event and told WAGA-TV after the run that he was very impressed with the turnout. More than 100 runners showed up to the event.

Hart recently talked about how he has "fallen in love" exercise and health.

He said, "I work out every day, and I take off every other Sunday. I'm not a big runner, but I try to make sure I put some time in on that (tread)mill. I run anywhere from 2 to 3 miles a day."

Hart will be staying in Atlanta over the weekend for his "What Now?" tour.

When Hart is not on tour, he is often working on movies. He has been in movies, such as "Get Hard," "Ride Along" and "Think Like a Man."
